This causes\nobstruction in micro-channels (Sleshma and Shonita) that supply nutrients to\nhair follicle and results in hair loss.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There are two main types of alopecia. When\nthe body\u2019s immune system mistakenly attacks hair follicles and causes hair to\nfall out, it\u2019s called alopecia areata.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Androgenetic alopecia, on the other hand, is\na commonest cause of hair loss in both men and women. It is commonly known as\nmale pattern baldness.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Hair fall or thinning of hair is common\namongst women.
